From my poetry diary this week

Not all entries are fit to share, and some aren't finished yet, either, but here's one that I especially liked from the other day, when I got a second, better offer on my house than the first (good) one whose realtor/buyers were dragging their feet on the contract process:

That makes total sense to me, Paul - and how cool that the poem works so well for that, too! I sure hope your delay in hearing works to your advantage! Good luck!!

Or some variation on "Good things come to those who wait." or however that goes. Though I like yours better. And I prefer the intent of yours as well. The patience is a virtue crap doesn't always work with me. And yours is sometimes good shit just happens while you wait.

Bravo on your poem. And doubly so if it truly means a better house deal.

Thanks, Kevin. And yes, it really does mean a better deal. Only slightly better, in many respects, but their alacrity in proceeding is extremely comforting!
