A short parody poem -- a Poetry Friday post

I was contemplating the whereabouts of a friend earlier today, and for reasons not quite known to me, the following poem from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll came to mind:

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly,
Like a teatray in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle—

Sadly, the Mad Hatter didn't quite finish his recitation, but I'm pretty sure we all know how it ends.

This is another example of a parody poem. And I figured I'd share, since it's been on my mind.
