Coming soon to a blog near you

I have bent to the persuasion of a few blog readers who were keen to read more Austen after our recent reading of Sense & Sensibility. Aaaaand . . . I've just exhausted my Austen titles for this post. Except for one more - the one I'm going to be blogging about starting in January. On January 1st, to be precise.

Many of you know it, many of you love it - even if you've only seen one of the film productions. If you've already read it, chances are you won't mind the re-read. If you haven't read it yet and aren't completely averse to it, then I sure hope you'll join me in moving through Pride and Prejudice.

I haven't read it since 12th grade so reading P&P as an adult should be interesting.

But of course
I refuse to read the mashups.

Okay, I retract that. I looked at the mashups enough to know that they aren't my cup of tea. And there's no way I'd waste what will probably be two months of my life blogging about any of them.

Re: But of course
I looked at it and I thought it was like three gallons of ice cream. It sounds good in theory and the first few bites rock, but then you're just...bored and want something new.

It would have made an excellent short story.

Yay! Something to look forward to in January (besides SCBWI NY).
