Dear Steve from Blues Clues,

Every time the mail arrives, I sing "Here's the mail". And once started, I CANNOT BE STOPPED, but must sing it through to it's conclusion. With jazz hands. I just thought you should know.
Fondly,
Kelly

Dear Disney Studios,

Thank you so very much for the movie Tangled, which I bought on DVD earlier this week. Loved it in theatres. Still love it at home. In fact, I believe I'll watch it again later today. One of my fave Disney movies EVER, which was not my expectation going in, but there you have it.
Sincerely,
Kelly R. Fineman

Dear Friends and Family,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. It makes acknowledgment of aging almost pleasant!
Love,
Kelly

Dear Universe:

I've leapt. I'm counting on that net to appear.
With all due respect,
Kelly

Happy belated birthday!

Every time I see the UPS van coming, I sing "The Wells-Fargo Wagon" from The Music Man, either out loud or silently in my head (depending on who's with me). It's always good to have a soundtrack for postal excitement! :)

Thanks - and it's good to know other people have the same sort of soundtrack things going!

I watched Tangled for the first time last night. Excellent movie. I especially liked Maximus :)

I like Maximus as well, although I'm unable to pick a favorite character from this one because I like so many of them - Rapunzel, Eugene (LOL), Mother Gothel, Maximus, and even the ruffians make me all kinds of happy.

I like how it works for so many ages - Mother Gothel's big song (establishing her as evil) works especially well for teens and adults, given her passive-aggressiveness. M laughs aloud at "PLAGUE" in her song.

I loved Tangled. I took my daughter and my son's girlfriend to the theater to see it when it came out. Fun day!

is a good thing. Enjoy the freefall!

I took M to see it when it came out, and we loved it then and again on Tuesday when we watched it at home.

This particular leap isn't fun, but I'm hoping for a good landing.

Dear Kelly,
Oh, man, do I suck as a friend. I totally missed your birthday.
However, on behalf of the universe, let me extend my hands to holding tightly to the net that will catch you, as you leap out into the next adventure of your life.

With great love and affection,

A Hermit

Re: Dear Hermit
I've been missing you, wondering how long you needed to sit and stare at white walls on your ownsome. And thank you. For everything.

A belated Many Happy Returns of the Day! Or, if you'd rather, Hipappy Buthuthiddy.

That net will indeed be there. You can count on it.

Hook-handed guy: "Go, live your dream."
Flynn: "I will."
Hook-handed guy: "Your dream stinks, I was talkin' to her."

Flynn: "Sorry, Blondie, I don't do backstory, however I am becoming very interested in yours. I know I'm not supposed to mention the hair, or the mother, and frankly, I'm too scared to ask about the frog."
Rapunzel: "Chameleon."
Flynn: "Nuance."

LOL!

Oh Kristy, you have no idea how I needed to hear that Kierkegaard today. I'm going to copy it into my commonplace book. Thank you.
