National Poetry Month

According to the Poetry Foundation website, National Poetry Month has been cancelled. A most excellent April Fool's post, if ever there was one.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be posting a poem a day, each one related to a favorite line from the works of Jane Austen, which will include lines from her letters as well as her novels and her juvenilia. Because I figured "why not combine two of my favorite things?" (Damn - now I'm singing "My Favorite Things", from The Sound of Music. So it goes.)

I hope to post daily this month, to get back in the habit of regular blogging. Wish me luck.
