Over at Guys Lit Wire

Today it's my review of THE OGRE'S WIFE by Ron Koertge. The book was a CYBILS nominee, which is how I had the good fortune to come by a copy. Koertge's poems are a bit dark in most places, entirely witty, and wholly original, and there is much to commend them. They are just the sort of thing teens who are interested in poetry would enjoy, based in the familiar, and (in this collection), often in the things of childhood, but from a whole new slant.
