I am doing something I've never done before, and, friends, I am nervous.

What I am doing is putting together a collection of my poems for grown-ups, which I am going to submit to publishers to see if they want to publish them in a chapbook.

I do not know how to select poems for a chapbook.
I do not know how to organize poems for a chapbook.

I am, of course, turning to my google-fu to see what I can learn about it, because my first response whenever I'm faced with something I've never done before is to read up on it.

I will undoubtedly burden you with what I learn, either eventually or along the way, because that is pretty much how I roll.

In the meantime, wishes for luck are appreciated, as are any concrete tips to help me along the way.
